VIP Support engineer
The mission is at the major Belgian site of a large global organization. the approx. 1500 end-users (majority Dutch speaking) receive IT services through a global outsourcing.
The end users receive service desk, workstation (win10), network, voice and application services via offshored delivery.
Interaction is very standardized (web portal, ZTI) and sometimes feels impersonal. A local onsite team has the mission to smoothen/facilitate these outsourced services towards the end-users (everyone can be a VIP);
helping to isolate the complex problems,
finding fallback solutions,
acting as Tech Bar (walk in support).
knowledge of Win10 workplace, Office 365 environment
mobile devices support (GSM, iPad) in a MDM context (container, secured zone)
communication via VOIP, LiveMeeting (Skype, Circuit), network interaction (Wifi, Vlan)
Installation of workplace incl ZTI, backup user data/settings, …
Dutch (majority), French (occasionally) and English (global interaction)
