We are actively searching a Test Manager who will work in a small ‘IT testing team’ in order support projects manager to set up and follow up the test strategies of their projects.
The main activities of the ‘testing team’ are:
- Test strategies set up,
- Test effort evaluation,
- Test planning set up and follow-up,
- Test scenarios redaction
- Test scenarios execution
- When needed, coaching people in development teams in order to improve the quality of
- Non regression testing before each delivery (partly automated),
- Improving the process and the tools used.
To function effectively, the Test Manager is required to conceptualize and think abstractly,
work in a technically complex and heterogeneous environment, and effectively
communicate with all stakeholders of the projects.
To evaluate the testing effort and the planning of a project
To put in place tests strategies
To take part to test scenarios redaction and execution in collaboration with analysts of
the different domains
To organize Monitoring & Reporting in collaboration with IT projects managers and
Identify tests to add to the regression patrimony
To manage the other type of tests such as :
o Regression tests
o Non-functional tests :
University Graduate or Professional bachelor with EDP Study Program.
Ideally, University graduate “Master” in Computer Science, Management or Industrial
Knowledgeable about business process management, requirements management & engineering
Knowledge of Employee Benefits and/or Health Care Insurance
Experience in test management & test methodology
Setting up test strategies of projects
Data and environment preparation
ALM & UFT tools, VSTS
Excellent knowledge of MS-office Tools
knowledge of the technical application landscape (at least for one domain) and at least ‘basic’ knowledge about IT platforms , technology solutions , IT (development) standards
& software development lifecycle models
‘basic’ knowledge about non-functional requirements and software (& hardware) architecture
Cobol, DB2, SQL, .Net
