Project description:

The Project Scheduler will manage the overall delivery plan for all components of the Programme and he will liaise with the wider PMO team in charge of products delivery (Pulse, Whisper, RID and equipment supply). He will make sure that the project milestones are clearly identified as well as all dependencies. The Project Scheduler will liaise with the PMO team to make sure that the product delivery milestones are in line with the project requirements.

The Project Scheduler will work closely with the Project Managers and the wider PMO team to provide enhanced visibility and capability around project management and control. He will report to the Project Director.


  • Developing and maintaining the Schedule for Projects
  • Providing expert Analysis on various scenarios across the Portfolio of projects
  • Providing Resource utilization & optimization analysis, recommendations and practices
  • Providing schedule management guidance and support to the Project and Program Managers, including in the development of the work breakdown structure and in identifying intra-projects dependencies, schedule risk and issues.
  • You will work collaboratively with the project management team and the PMO Manager to ensure all aspects of the project's multiple timelines are accurately captured, maintained and analysed to ensure on time delivery.
  • Ensuring transparency in reporting, building strong stakeholder relationships and implementing rigorous program management and control disciplines which will enable you to meet the expectations of the leadership team to deliver a first class service.
  • Working with other senior PMO and Program professionals to provide your insights and collaborate with others to deliver up to date management information.
  • Coordinate key schedule development activities to support the program manager, project manager and vendor management during the initial development of the project master schedule.
  • Facilitate regular scheduling/planning sessions with the Program managers and Project managers to develop and update the project master schedule through the identification of relationships between key activities and milestones and a logical sequence through precedence diagramming, dependency determination, and/or leads and lags.
  • Maintain schedule baselines in line with an agreed change governance process.
  • Measure the project progress and monitor key milestones, critical path activities and changes to baseline in line with the approved process.
  • Shared the schedule with the clint and integrate the integration milestones into the plan

Technical skills:


  • Extensive experience scheduling in MS Project
  • A high degree of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Commitment to a disciplined project management approach
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to make necessary status reports
  • Languages: English, French and/or Dutch

Desirable: Knowledge of AFS, Public transport, Cloud based solution, product delivery management and project management


  • Minimum of five (5) years in a scheduling role in a project management environment Related experience in creating, updating and reporting on Master Schedules for a Program of Work.
  • Proven ability to generate project schedules incorporating financial information in a formal reporting environment using software and Microsoft Project along with other elements of the Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Experience with maintaining and progressing schedules and extracting necessary data from busy professionals, using good interpersonal skills
