Data analysis is becoming more and more important in today’s world of business decision making. Who hasn’t heard about Advanced Analytics and Machine learning….?
In the Data Management Team, we are working in the fascinating world
of data every day. In order to be fully prepared for tomorrow’s challenges, we have put in place a new platform, new tools and new detailed and aggregated data for our business clients to support them in their analysis. We work closely with the business to analyse and model data.
In the Data Management Team, we strive to combine insurance business concepts and
develop well reflected systems to respond a maximum to our business clients’ reporting needs.


The key missions of the data analyst are
a. Organization and moderating workshops with the business client in order to
define their business needs.
b. Gathering the business requirements, understand it
c. Build detailed design of solution for data ingestion, storage, transformation,
distribution and consumption and for model automation, in line with business
d. Assisting the project manager for project planning and follow-up
e. Designing the different data patrimonies and keep it coherent in the time
f. Documenting the functional documentation
g. Explaining the functional contents of the projects to the development team
(link between users and the development team)
h. Test & Validate the solution. Support Business Data Analyst during testing
i. The monitoring/control of the functional design (logical data, functionalities
and controls) of the applications of his business domain.
j. Validating the deviations needed in the design and controlling they are
k. Ensuring the respect of the functional and technical design
standards and Data Policies.
l. Definition of best practices and patterns to be applied in his application
context and documenting and maintaining them.
m. Helping to define the testing approach of the projects with the clients
n. Monitor D-2-D data activities to guarantee performance, reliability, availability,
o. Assessing new tools, new technologies and methodologies

Technical skills:


University Graduate or Professional bachelor
Ideally University graduate “Master” in information Science, Management or Industrial Engineer.

 Strong interest for Business Process Analysis
 Experience in data modelling and functional analysis
 Good knowledge of insurance processes (Life, Non Life, EB)
 Experience in functional Enterprise modelling and Architecture (trough projects)
 Experience in data modelling
 Understanding development life cycles
 Mastering scheduling principles and techniques
 Experience in functional Enterprise modelling and Architecture (trough projects)
 Experience with data modelling tools like Erwin
 Combination of technical training plus 2 years’ experience/knowledge of data application development and/or management required.
 Good computer skills, proficient with Microsoft office applications including Microsoft BI Tools.
 Experience with some Data Programming Language like SAS
 Thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards etc. and their impact on project activities is vital.…
